LETTER OF SUPPORT FROM THE BISHOP
Bishop Guglielmone, of the Diocese of Charleston, recently drafted a letter of support for Corpus Christi Academy. He writes, “I am pleased and honored to offer my support to the efforts to establish a new Catholic education experience for high school students in Charleston, Corpus Christi Academy. The Corpus Christi Catholic Community, a parochial community of the Ordinariate of the Chair of St. Peter, has an evangelical mission to education young people in the classical tradition with a love for Jesus Christ and neighbor. This new school will enhance the mission of the Ordinariate Diocese to spread the Gospel through the education of children. . . Please assist and welcome this new venture to the educational landscape of our Church, city, and region.”
We are pleased and grateful to have the Diocese of Charleston’s support in our endeavors!
CCA VISIONING SESSIONS
Corpus Christi Academy is partnering with Bernard Dumond, President & CEO of Development Innovations 360, as we are engaged in the School Vitality Process to help propel CCA forward. Bernard has decades of experience working with Catholic schools to help them thrive, and with his aid we have launched a Strategic Visioning process.
A key part of this process is a series of visioning sessions which cover 5 main vision areas: Catholic Identity, Academic Excellence, Operational Vitality, Communications, & Student Life. Our first three sessions were held at our future location in West Ashley on January 18th, February 9th, and February 22nd, with one more session coming up on March 15th. These sessions are attended by those in the community who care deeply about the mission of Corpus Christi Academy and are willing to secure its bright future.
Thank you to all those who are taken part so far. We appreciate your input, and we look forward to sharing our vision with the wider community!
